quarters, deosil). By Water and Earth, purify (salt and water in
same manner). By the powers of God and Goddess, I claim this space
sacred. (athame in chalice) and hallow it now as my special place

we know there is evil
for they are of the same source of living.
But because there is evil does not mean
that there must be harm.
I ask that those that do not know
the wisdom of light in the God
or the wonders of love in the Goddess
or the joys of life in the Child
not be allowed to harm,
but instead be shown these truths.
O Great Sun,
we ask but for a short time
that you hide your face from us
and bring forth a veil of clouds.
O Great Mother Earth,
we ask that you bring forth from those clouds
the life giving water that we call rain
so that life may grow
and all may drink in your splendor.
