Assemble materials
Set the altar (working candle color: pink)
Prepare participants (bath, clothing, oil, etc.)

State Intention
We come together to renew and strengthen our bonds of love.
This is our intent. (Light working candle)

Banish and Purify
If any ill intent here be, by these sounds we banish thee
Banish old energy, ring bell at altar quarters, widdershins)
first partner: By Air and Fire, sanctify
(Place athame in fire, draw point at circle quarters, deosil)
second partner: By Water and Earth, purify
(Place water in chalice, put dipping stone in water and draw circle, deosil)
together: Through the blessings of the Goddess and the God, we claim this space sacred.
(Place tip of athame into chalice)

Cast the Circle
Partners press hands together, raise them up over heads then bring down together.
In this circle now we spin, let the magick rite begin.
May we feel safe and sure for the work we shall procure. So Mote It Be.

Ground and Center
Partners hold each other and hum softly to ground and center.

Set the Four Quadrants
We honor the direction of East wherein lies the element of air. We recognize the power of thought in our relationship. Let us clear our thoughts and enjoin them in refining our love.

We honor the direction of South wherein lies the element of fire. We recognize the power of emotion in our relationship. Let us clear our emotions and enjoin them in refining our love.

We honor the direction of West wherein lies the element of water. We recognize the power of spirit in our relationship. Let us free our spirits and enjoin them in refining our love.

We honor the direction of North wherein lies the element of earth. We recognize the power of the bodies in our relationship. Let us free our bodies and enjoin them in refining our love.

We honor the center from which all things come and to which all return. We recognize the power of union in our relationship. Let us gather al our energies and enjoin them in refining our love.

Call the Deities
We honor the Goddess - the feminine energy of our relationship. (light candle)
We honor the God - the masculine energy of our relationship. (light candle)
We honor the Child - the mysterious presence created by the union of masculine and feminine. (light incense)

Raise Energy
Let us fill this circle with our energies of love and sharing.
(begin chanting together)

Close the Circle
And now we this circle enclose. Within its bonds let no troubles dispose.
With love and trust shall we hold fast. For now, at last, the circle is cast.” [ring bell]

Ritual
1. Polish and shine symbols of the relationship (rings, cups, etc.)
2. Share readings and comments that remind each other of the first feelings experienced when coming together. Talk about how the relationship can be refined.
3. Place hands on lap- right hands up, left hands down on right. Meditate or concentrate on sharing energies and refining feelings for each other and the relationship.

Completion
